We’re glad to share that Matt Nosco has stepped into a new role as our Director of AI Innovation. This promotion recognizes what he already brings: someone who gets genuinely energized by a hard problem and by the people it helps, which is what this role needs.
A decade in the sector, on both sides of the table
Matt brings more than ten years in Salesforce and database management. He spent eight of those years inside educational nonprofits before moving into consulting, where he has worked as a consultant, architect, and delivery manager. Having seen projects from both the client seat and the partner seat, he understands the technical and operational realities of nonprofit work, and he carries a firsthand appreciation for the missions these organizations serve.
“I’ve spent years watching incredible mission-driven organizations make the most of every dollar and every hour. We’re going to use AI to help them gain back that time and those resources, responsibly, in ways that will really move the work forward,” Matt said.
Adoption with guardrails, not hype
Matt is an early adopter of AI who has led adoption efforts while setting thoughtful guardrails for responsible use. His focus is practical: putting the technology to work for the organizations we partner with and the people they serve.
“We can see incredible potential in AI for our nonprofit and education clients, but that potential will only matter if it’s deployed thoughtfully. I’m excited to help our clients adopt these tools with the right guardrails so the technology can serve their mission,” he said.
What AI for nonprofits and education means for our clients
For the schools and nonprofits we work with, Matt’s role means AI shows up where it earns its place: cutting administrative load, supporting discovery and QA, and getting more out of Nonprofit Cloud and Education Cloud. It also means help thinking through Salesforce AI features like Agentforce, plus advising on clients’ own AI solutions, always with data governance and ethics built in.
“We’re focused on safe and impactful use of the AI tools at our fingertips, to help our clients achieve more from their systems while also exploring, advising, and helping to build out their own AI solutions,” he said.
Congratulations, Matt
Beyond the resume, Matt is the kind of teammate who makes the people around him better: curious, generous with what he knows, and steady under pressure. He cares about doing right by the organizations we serve, and it shows in how he talks about the work.
This promotion is well earned, and we’re glad he’s the one leading it. Congratulations, Matt. We can’t wait to see what you help our clients build.
